BSIS SECURITY OFFICER LICENSING TRAINING/POWERS TO ARREST/Appropriate use of force
POWERS TO ARREST – “MODULE A” TRAINING
This 8-hour course will guide you in the process of becoming a security professional. “Module A” training will teach you everything you need to know about the security industry.
Each applicant for a security guard registration shall complete a course in the exercise of the power to arrest and the appropriate use of force as a condition for the issuance of the registration. A course provider authorized to provide the training pursuant to Section 7583.7 shall issue a certificate of completion to the person upon satisfactory completion of the training. The course provider shall conduct the training in accordance with Section 7583.7 and any applicable regulations adopted by the bureau.

Module A – Initial BSIS Security Training 8hrs To Obtain Your State License $250
Includes liivescan state fee and processing.
Monday 9am
– 3hrs Powers to Arrest
– 5hrs Appropriate Use of Force.
Training only without processing:
Monday 9am In-person Part B
– 5hrs Appropriate Use of Force $40.00
Module B – C Mandatory Extended Training 32hrs By Appointment $250
Module D – 8hrs Yearly Refresher Course $50.00
